Hi, I’m Edward Gough — a self-published author, audiobook creator, and full-time Senior Web Developer based in the UK.

Storytelling has always been a driving force in my life. Whether I’m writing a suspense-filled short story or crafting a complex web application, I’m drawn to the art of structure, detail, and connection. My fiction often explores the darker corners of the human experience — morality, mystery, and the unexpected—all with a cinematic twist and emotional depth.

My first published collection, Forest Through the Trees, brings together some of my most popular early stories — ranging from psychological thrillers to supernatural suspense. The audiobook, now available on Audible, marks a major step in my creative journey and features narration by the talented John Gibson.

By day, I work as a Senior Web Developer, and also run my freelance business, Monstera Creative, helping businesses build and refine their digital presence. I’m currently working in a leadership role at Blue Solutions, building business systems and paving the way to become a future shareholder in the company.

When I’m not writing or coding, I’m usually brainstorming new ideas, exploring my garden, or diving deep into a good thriller.
