At least it was until a gentleman calling himself Theodore enters into Morgan's Fresh Essentials, and into Oliver's life. His mother, Mrs Morgan, has been bedridden for months, only recently returning from hospital. Unable to care for herself, Oliver has to take on the extra weight. But there is something wrong with Theodore. Something that is clawing away at him as every single second goes by.

Shouldn’t Have Looked Up

Everything is going to plan and the boys are taking the plunge into the dark recesses of the forest.

Flowers of the Forest

When George and his friends ventured out into the forests of The Black Fern Forest they didn't realise that unnatural occurrences would have taken place.

Elliot's curiosity runs overdrive when he sees imagery of this forest, of the extraordinary scenes that fill this dark forest.

Goodbye Neighbour

Body in the Office

With the victim tangled in a web of affairs eventually, Detective Christopher Watkins can weed out the truth.

Customer Reviews

Great book - This book is about two stories that make you think and feel. The first one is about a detective solving a murder and learning about people's secrets. The second story is about someone feeling guilty for killing their neighbor. Both stories show why people act the way they do and make us think about right and wrong. They are easy to read but deep, showing the complicated side of human feelings. I liked them because they were exciting and made me think about life.

A Captivating Read - Title:
Two Exciting Stories About Crime and Feelings

Review:
These two stories are really interesting and full of surprises. The first one is about Detective Watkins who is trying to solve a murder case. The story shows how people can hide secrets and how these secrets can cause big problems. It's not just about finding the killer; it's also about understanding why people do bad things to each other. The second story is different. It's about someone who feels really guilty for killing their neighbor. This story takes us inside the mind of that person and shows us how hard it is to live with a big secret. It makes us think about what is right and what is wrong. What makes these stories special is how they show the characters' feelings and decisions. We get to see why people do what they do, and it feels very real. The stories are easy to read but they make you think a lot about life and choices. I liked these stories because they were exciting and made me think about important things. They show that understanding people can be complicated but really interesting. If you like stories that make you think and feel the emotions strongly, you will probably like these ones too. It is for sure to leave an impression on you

Fantastic! - I loved this collection of short stories. I always try not to give the plots away in reviews, but Edward Gough has a wonderful writing style that is sure to leave you hooked! The book cover is great too!
